Top Catholic Songs – share, learn, promote

The creation narrative speaks of God making a lesser light to rule the night and a greater light to rule the day.  Then, as if almost an afterthought, the author of Genesis adds, "He also made the stars." 

We may not know all of God's purposes of the stars (are there other creatures out there?) but we do know we were created and are loved by our God.  It's humbling to think of the many, many stars there that bring beauty to us.
