Songwriting, music production, distribution and promotion
We can offer you tips for using various software programs to do acoustic recording, virtual instrumentation, sequencing and song mastering. Applications we can help you with include: Apple Logic, GarageBand, Cubase and Sibelius. You can even ask us to mix and master a song for you for a fee ($60 to $120 per song, depending on complexity). Send us your tracks as individual files, or send us your DAW project in a ZIP archive (please include plug-ins used). DAW=Digital Audio Workstation (i.e. a sequencing program). This forum provides tips for beginning as well as experienced cantors, choir members and musicians. Included are suggested songs for weekend Masses, following the readings for the day as well as the liturgical season.
In this forum we provide suggestions for songs for weekend Masses and other services, following the readings for the day, the Catholic liturgical calendar or a specific sacramental, praise or adoration theme. Included are hymns, responsorial psalms and Mass settings. We provide links to song texts (lyrics), guitar chords and piano sheet music, if available. We will try to note which songs are copyrighted and which are in the public domain. Some songs are demoed via YouTube or audio links.
