A remarkable woman of courage, faith and determination - all for the glory of God. St Mary MacKillop was a leader towards a more innovative and responsive Church during a challenging time.
When I composed this song in 2024, I was thinking something bright, fast and catchy for the younger audience. This was what came out. I hope I have achieved it, and I hope our younger people will like it.
In saying that however, I also put challenging words like tumultuous and apathy - to encourage a little bit of effort to sing with resilience just like the subject of the song - St Mary MacKillop herself.
