You Took Upon Yourself all our sins - our guilt in the garden of Gethsemane
1 ) My holy guardian angel so dear -With you at my side whom should I fear You whisper in my soul’s ear - How the Father loves me/ like his divine Son And to Him I am so dear REFRAIN
The Father sent his angel in your agony. To console you in the crucible of Gethsemane After the devil accused us of all our sins And you accpeted all our guilt you sweat blood through your skin And our forgiveness you did win 2 )All you holy angels in heaven sing- the praises of Jesus our God and king You tell us His will everyday. - And help us do it and give him praise In our daily work and play REFRAIN 3 )You help us fight and defeat - Our true and deadly enemy And help us see how empty - the world’s allurements are and their folly And keep our lives simple, humble, and free
