Assumed In Your Trinitarian Love

1 ) Day by day, and with each passing moment
Strength I find to meet my trials here
Trusting in my Father's wise bestowment
I've no cause for worry or for fear
He whose heart is kind beyond all measure
Gives unto each day what He deems best
Lovingly, its part of pain and pleasure
Mingling toil with his peace and rest
2) Still today you speak through your prophets
Of idolatry of self & earthly treasure
Of our pride - power and unjust profits
That cause envy hatred and wars
You who love us with divine measure
You Raise up saints who loved sacrificially
Who lived in your peace and trusted
When being purified in your divine consuming Love
3) Our mother says not to fear the future
For it is in my Son’s most holy will
The world will know his merciful chastisement
That some. return to their loving Father
And all that’s false will fall away
In these trials your faith will be tested
And be called to help your fallen neighbor
That you may grow in trust, love and faith
4 )Every day you are here within me,
With a special mercy for each hour;
All my cares you fain would bear and cheer me,
As your name is Counsellor and Pow’r.
You protect your children and treasure
Is a charge that on yourself you laid;
“As thy days, thy strength shall be in measure,”
This the pledge to us you made.
5 )Help us then , in every tribulation,
And we trust Thy promises, O Lord,
That we lose not faith’s consolation,
Offered us within Your Church and Word.
Help us, Lord, when trial and trouble meeting,
E’er to take, as from a father’s hand,
One by one, the days, the moments fleeting,
Till we reach heaven's promised land.
