Here are two $10 anthems for the week. You may download these without becoming a subscriber. If you choose to use one or both, the cost is $10 (per-anthem please...) Just send them a check. Then make whatever copies you need and put it in your library.

SAB and piano or organ with text by the composer: A tender and moving prayer to the Holy Spirit. Also a beautiful anthem for ordinations and baptisms (Easter Vigil!)

I Will Not Leave You Comfortless - William Byrd
SATB Choir a cappella or lightly accompanied. Dating from 1607, I will not leave you comfortless (Nos vos relinquam orphanos) is a delicious anthem - two minutes of Renaissance bliss - employing wonderful imitation between the voices as well as having interior and terminal Alleluias. Originally for five voices, (AATTB), this is an arrangement for SATB retaining the all harmonic complexity and beauty of the original. Your choir will love this! Text from John 14. Perfect for Pentecost, but great anytime.
