Audio of a cover of Michael Mangan's My Spirit Sings
I just wanted to play this spritely hymn of Mary's Magnificat simply through an acoustic guitar. So here is: just me and my nylon-stringed guitar. It is Marian and would suit during the month of the Holy Rosary, feast of the Immaculate Conception, and other Marian feasts but it will equally enliven the music of the mass if used as an entrance or recessional song. It is also easy to play on guitar. I have attached the handwritten chord sheet here.
Recessional song about commissioning and evangelising
This song is based from Matthew 9:36-10:8, with themes of evangelization and commissioning. We are all missionaries in our faith in Jesus. This is the message at the conclusion of the Mass.
Go in Peace to Love and Serve the Lord - Instrumental
The recessional hymn is important because it reiterates the mission of Christ that we are all invited to participate. The popular phrase 'Let us go in peace to love and serve the Lord' is a reminder of the sending forth message Jesus had for his desciples during his Ascension into heaven. By enlivening this thought at the ending of the Mass through our song, we connect ourselves to the meaningful and purposeful acts of evangelizing. Like St Carlo Acutis, we are always called to spread the messages of faith, hope and love to our world today, be it physical or digital. Here is a new Catholic song for a good recessional moment.
The music sheet is available from Music Sheet Plus or Amazon.com

My recent contemporary arrangement of Sebastian Temple’s classic 1960s hymn, "Happy the Man," has reached the Number 1 position on the New Age Notes music charts. I would like to share my story with you.
As a music director/organist, I am always looking for additional sources for new, old, and forgotten hymns and other music. This resource would also be an excellent way to broaden my view of hymnody through history, hymnals, composers, sources, etc. I look forward to new discoveries!

As a young Catholic who adores hymns, I would like to become more aware of those I haven’t heard before. I’m also looking for a space to help identify songs I’d heard once but lost to my memory
Engagée dans la diffusion de la musique catholique, je cherche à partager des chants pour contribuer à l’œuvre d’évangélisation selon mes humbles moyens. Que Dieu veille sur chacun de nous !
I've written a Mass setting, got it approved by the USCCB, several psalm settings, and a couple years of gospel acclamation verses. Looking for a place to publish my works.
