2026 OCP Music Showcase at NPM National Convention
Join us for the OCP Music Showcase at the 48th Annual NPM National Convention taking place in Washington, D.C. If you can't attend in person, we will be livestreaming the showcase on Facebook, July 22 at 2:30 p.m. EST.
We are excited to present a diverse collection of brand-new seasonal titles, inspiring bilingual works, and music suited for choirs of all skill levels and for general congregational use. A PDF copy of the music will be available to download for attendees who RSVP.
The 50th anniversary of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians
This year’s theme, “Forever We Will Sing,” takes its inspiration from Psalm 89. NPM’s work to foster the art of musical liturgy has shaped Catholic worship since the Second Vatican Council — and our work is not done yet.

I am glad to hear you continue to follow up with OCP, just to hear about the Catholic University of America, I feel inspired and I am imagining the door of opportunity for musicians to enter into the Catholic musics to praise the Lord, Jesus Christ & the Holy Family in the direction of the saints. I just feel like we are at the entrance of the gate of music to praise the Lord, Jesus Christ.

Thank you for your thoughts, Dan Vi, about OCP's mission of fostering and promoting liturgical and devotional music. Even though OCP did not accept the three songs we submitted a few years ago, we maintain our support of OCP.
On the other hand, this website, Top Catholic Songs, is fully accepting of a full range of Christocentric music genres. We don't rigorously screen the songs uploaded or linked. Some songs are rough sketches, some are fully mastered and produced.
"Top Catholic Songs" might sound like a carefully curated list of "top" Catholic songs (i.e. most popular or most artistic). In fact, this site was originally launched in 2007 to promote the songs composed by members of John Michael Talbot's "Catholic Association of Music". However, now it is more appropriate to regard "top" on this website as the songs which appear at the top of the home page feed as our members post stories, blog articles and forum topics.

Musicians striving to make a contribution
I'm like you. I am not striving to be a huge success (i.e. to "make it") in the music industry. I just want to share my own songs (many of which are collaborations with other artists) as well as provide a means for other composers, worship leaders and recording artists to have their music heard without the hassle of a review committee or paywall.
OCP, GIA and other publishers ably support parishes with liturgical music and faith formation resources. We as "amateur" composers and recording artists can follow their lead. But we can also follow our own hearts, guided by the Holy Spirit.
