David Burke writes: This song came to me in a special way, through God, of course, but I was thinking beforehand of all the things that are being said nowadays about the unborn having a voice. An unborn child is still a person and thus has a right to his or her life. We parents do not have the choice to change that. We used our choice when we enabled God to create this child, and that's where our options in that regard stopped and where our responsibilities began. So when I considered unborn children having a voice in their destiny, I envisioned these children speaking out in song and communicating with an angel about life on earth, as well as eternal life with our Almighty Creator.

Lyrics to "We Want to See the World"
(A) - Angel (UC) - Unborn Children
(Verse 1)
(A) Children of God's love. (UC) Who are you who sings to us?
(A) I am the angel of your lives. (UC) Tell us more about our lives.
(A) You have been created by our God. (UC) Tell us more about our God.
(A) He gave you life upon the Earth. (UC) We want to know about the Earth.
(A) Earth has flowers and waterfalls. (UC) Tell us more; please tell us all.
(A) And raindrops that fall upon the trees. (UC) These are things we want to see.
(A) And rainbows that shine as bright as stars. (UC) Can you tell us where they are?
(A) Where snow-covered mountains reach the sky. (UC) We want to know about the sky.
(A) As I hear your words, I know you want to see the world, and I can feel your little hearts
just want the love that they deserve. So now we lift our voice and
pray the whole world will rejoice when we sing ...
(Refrain)
Holy gracious Jesus Christ, we kneel and thank You for our lives, and pray that every unborn
child will see their parents' loving smile. May every mother realize that You will guard their
children's lives, and every father know the truth -- that children are a gift from You.
(UC) We want to see the world, like other boys and girls. We want to feel the love
from our mothers and our fathers.
(Verse 2)
(UC) Can we talk about the sky? (A) It's God home of eternal life.
(UC) Does it have flowers and waterfalls? (A) Heaven has all that's wonderful.
(UC) Will we ever see it with our eyes? (A) If you believe in Jesus Christ.
(UC) And what does He want from all of us? (A) To live by His word and share your love.
(UC) Dear angel of our lives, we want a chance to see the sky, so can we say a little
prayer and tell God all the reasons why. So now we lift our voice and
pray the whole world will rejoice as we sing ... (Repeat Refrain)
Beautiful and breathtaking! I don't think anyone can watch this music video without crying (in a good way). It's a really creative way (voices singing back and forth) of bringing out the voice of the unborn about life in this world and in heaven.
I have written and recorded about 70 songs over the last two decades that are posted on my YouTube channel - Ronald St Martin songs. I would like to share them with a larger audience. Thank you and God bless your work Ron St Martin
I am a Catechist that believes that religious song is the prayer of the angels, that lifts the soul. What better way to get a child to feel the present of God's peace
I am a practicing Roman Catholic always trying to increase my faith and holiness. I like Christian music particularly prefer Catholic Christian when I am driving or at home completing tasks.
I have been a minister of music for almost 40 years, and I am, primarily, an ear-trained pianist/composer. I am hoping that, becoming a member, I will be able to find sheet music (mostly, lead sheets, if available), that also contain the guitar chords, as I, typically, see them, and then, improvise, accordingly.
I am a resident organist and singer, also training choirs. I very much would appreciate learning more contemporary music to help integrate a wider and more diverse congregation. Thank you.
Need to replace copyrighted music on my YouTube Rosary channel (https://www.youtube.com/@mryan510) to stop the constant interruptions with ads. Perusing your site affords me with plenty of ad free solutions. I hope to donate to your site when I make my selections.
I want my prayers, my songs to be heard. I grew up Catholic and I have been composing songs since I was 16. I compose in different languages. I sing my own songs and play most of the instruments. My goal is to share my gift with the Catholic world, the gift God gave me. As they say, singing is praying twice. I want also people to know how Catholicism is universal. The only difference is the language but everything is the same. I want to share my ways of praising the Lord's name, and...
I'm a harpist who arranges and records Gregorian chant for Irish wire-strung harp. In 2014 I released my first commercial CD, Vox Celeste, an album of eight layered tracks reminiscent of Enya's work, that featured my harp, pipe organ and synthesizer. Currently I'm working on my second studio album, Harpe Grégorienne, due out early next year. Vox Celeste is currently available on most major streaming platforms (with the exception of Spotify).
I have produced some CD albums of Catholic Christian music which were used very successfully as a fundraiser for our building project at the Basilica of St Paul in Daytona Beach Florida. Some of the songs have become "hits" with the congregation and in other parishes in surrounding areas. I'm certain that others throughout the Catholic Christian community would enjoy hearing, learning and using them in worship and fellowship settings I would like to know more about the path to distribution....
I have been looking for a song forever and wanted to post a comment to see if anyone knows a cd that it is on or even all of the lyrics. It is a Mary song for kids.
I'm an aspiring Catholic artist here in Brooklyn, NY. I would like to use my music to evangelize and spread the message of Gods mercy, love, light and joy to all who may come to hear it. I would also love to collaborate with other musicians and grow in faith and fellowship through praise and song.
