One of the members of Color music ministry has composed music for the Prayer to the Holy Spirit. The recording is a peaceful and meditative version of this prayer in song.
Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Breathe in me O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy.
Act in me O Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy.
Draw my heart O Holy Spirit, that I love but what is holy.
Strengthen me O Holy Spirit, to defend all that is holy.
Guard me, then, O Holy Spirit, that I always may be holy.
Amen

Some years ago someone asked if I could set St John Vianney's Prayer to Jesus to music. I had never seen this prayer before but once I did it resonated immediately. What an absolutely beautiful love song to Jesus! Color Music Minstry recorded and recently released the song online via our Contemplative Worship Podcast, SoundCloud and YouTube and it will soon be available for streaming on all major platforms.
St John Vianney’s Prayer to Jesus
"I love You, O my God, My only desire
is to love You until the last breath of my life.
I love You, O my infinitely lovable God,
and I would rather die loving You,
than live without loving You.
I love You, Lord
and the only grace
I ask is to love You eternally.
My God, if my tongue can't say
in every moment that I love You,
I want my heart to repeat it
to You as often as I draw breath."

Hi everyone,
I present to you 'Song of Peace' used as part of a welcome to a liturgy and can get quite complex in that the song has two choruses that are sing at the same time, splitting th church up into two competitive halves (quite fun too!).
I do recall using this one time and one piece of feedback I received was questionning the reference to the 'gender' of the Holy Spirit (I use the term 'his'). Any advice on this would be very welcome!
Have a great day Richard, and all.

Lyrics:
Jesus turned to his disciples and said to them, "I leave my peace, and as the father sent me, I now send you to every nation' and so in prayer:
Chorus one:
We sing a song of peace, we sing a song to share
A peace bestowed by Jesus, to show us how to care.
And may the Spirit spread his wings
Filling our hearts with peace for evermore
to bring us always closer to the Lord
Chorus two:
We sing a song for one another
and we know the truth and life of Christ is held within
CHORUS
Come, come to the table of the king
Come, come to the table of the king
VERSE
Come to the table of the king
We all share the food and water we have
In thankful for God provides us with breads
CHORUS
Come, come to the table of the king
Come, come to the table of the king
VERSE
Come to the table of the king
We offer thankful for his meals
To nourish our body mind and spiritual life
CHORUS
Come, come to the table of the king
Come, come to the table of the king
VERSE
Come to the table of the king
We come to share our joy and happiness
All are welcome to join table of the king.
All are welcome, all are welcome.
