1)O blessed Martyrs, bring us joy,
on your triumphant holy days,
when you received the victor’s crown,
for which you paid the price of blood.
2) Holy mother church reminds us of
Your holy sacrificial Love
Following the King and Queen of Martyrs
She call us to follow you to heaven
3)From all the darkness of the world
this day raised you to heav’nly heights
in triumph over that world and your weakness
restoring you to Christ in joy.
REFRAIN
Come down, abide with us awhile
to bring the gracious gifts of Christ,
that we follow you in sacrificial lives
In joyous hope of our heavenly home
3)And now you share the angels’ hymn,
all clad in robes of dazzling white:
you washed them clean in streams of blood
By bearing witness none could thwart.
4 ) Draw near with mercy and implore
that Christ incline his gracious ear
and, in his reconciling love,
take no account of all our faults.
REFRAIN
5 ) And so, all gracious, loving Lord,
we beg you, hear our humble prayer:
Grant pardon for your servants’ sin
on these triumphant Martyr’s feasts.
6 ) That we may follow and attain
a glorious share in their reward
and find our joy for evermore
in heav’nly dwellings with the saints.

Praise to the Father and the Son
and to the Spirit Paraclete,
who crown you with a lasting crown
in heaven’s glorious court on high. Amen.
