You send us prophets for us to see
How we’ve fallen and become blind
To your love and to all the signs
1 B) Signs of your justices that is coming
That will burn and set a fire
All the idols of our proud desires
And purify your humble ones
2 A) Longing for light, we wait in darkness.
Longing for truth, we turn to you.
And to your Church our holy mother,
light for all the world to see.

In this dark and apostatic time
Shine in your Church that she be the sign
For all who seek your mercy and peace

You alone can save us.

That many come to and you adore

Still the rich steal from the poor.
Pride and power of the great nations
