“Your Kingdom Grows Within Us” is a reflective Communion hymn inspired by Matthew 13, where Jesus describes the hidden and mysterious growth of the Kingdom of God through the parables of the wheat and weeds, the mustard seed, and the yeast.
God’s grace often works quietly. Seeds of faith grow in places we cannot see. Even in the struggles, doubts, and imperfections of our lives, Christ patiently nurtures what is good and brings healing where it is needed.
In the Eucharist—the Bread of Presence—we receive the strength to trust this hidden work. Christ nourishes the smallest beginnings of faith and guards the fragile growth of hope within us.
This hymn is meant as a moment of prayer during Communion, inviting us to rest in the quiet promise that God’s kingdom is already growing in our hearts.
