“The Treasure We Have Found” is a reflective sacred song inspired by the words of Jesus about the Kingdom of Heaven being like a hidden treasure and a pearl of great price (Matthew 13:44–46). The song invites us to consider what we truly hold onto in life—and how the greatest treasure is found not in what we possess, but in surrender to Christ.
Through quiet imagery of hidden treasure, radiant pearls, and the wide net that gathers every wounded heart, the text reflects on God’s mercy that calls us beyond the things that fade. In the Eucharistic meal, Christ becomes the gift beyond all price, the Bread of Heaven in whom our restless hearts finally find their rest.
This meditation reminds us that when we release what cannot last, we discover the treasure that truly endures.
