A psalm foretelling the result of the Lord's return
Ant. May the Lord be blessed day after Day May his Name always be hallowed 1 Let God arise, let his foes be scattered. 2 Let those who hate him flee before him.
I like Brother Michael Herry's Responsorial Psalm arrangements because they're suited to those who have low voice range, but this one sounds like an exception, with a prolonged and hightened 'live' at the end of the response. All the same, the tune bears reverence, traditional (chant), yet emotive.
Happy Sunday, everyone! Peace! I just wanted to play this on guitar as I felt it is a much needed prayer now and always. Here's my guitar recording. Hopefully, you like it.
Geoff Madden's Instrumental of Erwin Cabucos' song I Can Do All Things Through You
This is a joy to compose. I hope you like it. Let me know what you think. Here's the music sheet for piano and guitar and vocal for your convenience. This song is registered with One License and CCLI. Email me on erwincabucos@gmail.com if there's anything else I can help. Enjoy!
When I composed this song in 2024, I was thinking something bright, fast and catchy for the younger audience. This was what came out. I hope I have achieved it, and I hope our younger people will like it.
In saying that however, I also put challenging words like tumultuous and apathy - to encourage a little bit of effort to sing with resilience just like the subject of the song - St Mary MacKillop herself.
Enjoy. Music here attached, for your use and sharing with others. The song is registered with One License.

For my HYMN OF THE MONTH, I have chosen a hymn that is a translation of the Latin Ad Cor Jesu (To the Heart of Jesus) by Monsignor Hugh Thomas Henry, Litt.D., which was published in 1912. The music was composed by Nicola Montani, an accomplished musician, composer, and publisher. The hymn is a testament that devotional hymns which have long been forgotten can once again find their place our Catholic liturgy. Please take a moment to read about this beautiful hymn to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

When I composed this song last year, I was looking for a little change from the usual Haugen, Farrell or Schutte hymns we had had in our parish. So here it is. I hope you like it. Feel free to use and dessiminate. Music sheet is attached. The new Gathering Hymn: 'Walk with Christ' by Erwin Cabucos. Enjoy!
Looking for a sprightly tune for Responsorial Psalm this coming weekend? Try this tune, using the Philippine Nursery Rhyme Leron-Leron Sinta. The response is 'Let all the earth, cry out to God with joy'. Guitar, vocal and arranged by me - Erwin Cabucos from Catholic Church Hymns. Enjoy! If you have a Filipino person in your parish, let him or her sing it, it's the most popular kid's song in the Philippines.
It's really newish as I wrote and home recorded it around same time last year. Since then, it has been played in my church and blogged in Australia. I wonder what you think of it. Enjoy 'We Thank You, Lord' Thanks to Geoff Madden for such a great backing track.
Song of Longing to see/know the Lord in all his glory!
1 John 3:2 But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
1) Come, Thou Almighty King,
help us Thy name to sing;
help us to praise:
Father, all glorious,
o'er all victorious,
come, and reign over us,
Ancient of Days.
2) Come Jesus that we may see thy face in glory And become like thee All evil disperse King of the universe Our bodies glorify Lord almighty
3) Come, Thou Incarnate Word,
gird on Thy mighty sword,
Imploring the good Lord's help to persevere with joy and charity for all.
Lord have mercy - Lord have mercy - Lord have mercy
In this final age of the Spirit and Church The final battle is to come Between you and the evil one Lord have Mercy The battle rages throughout the earth
Engagée dans la diffusion de la musique catholique, je cherche à partager des chants pour contribuer à l’œuvre d’évangélisation selon mes humbles moyens. Que Dieu veille sur chacun de nous !
I've written a Mass setting, got it approved by the USCCB, several psalm settings, and a couple years of gospel acclamation verses. Looking for a place to publish my works.
As a Catholic songwriter and singer myself, I want to contribute to the community and receive info on how to promote good Catholic songs to a wide audiences.
I am Catholic and a piano teacher. The Catholic Church has the most beautiful treasury of hymns.
I want my students to study hymns. Also, I want to memorize the words of some of the hymns that are in Latin and having access to the sheet music will help with that. Thank you.
I'm a music director at a Cathedral and a composer. I would love to hear other composers, music, ideas, etc. Additionally, I'd like to share my own music.
I am searching for a hymn sung on line in Canada - when I am confined to home and watch mass. I am a piano player for many years and would like to find the musical score.
I have written and recorded about 70 songs over the last two decades. I would like to share them with a larger audience. Thank you and God bless your work Ron St Martin
I am a Catechist that believes that religious song is the prayer of the angels, that lifts the soul. What better way to get a child to feel the present of God's peace
I am a practicing Roman Catholic always trying to increase my faith and holiness. I like Christian music particularly prefer Catholic Christian when I am driving or at home completing tasks.
I have been a minister of music for almost 40 years, and I am, primarily, an ear-trained pianist/composer. I am hoping that, becoming a member, I will be able to find sheet music (mostly, lead sheets, if available), that also contain the guitar chords, as I, typically, see them, and then, improvise, accordingly.
I am a resident organist and singer, also training choirs. I very much would appreciate learning more contemporary music to help integrate a wider and more diverse congregation. Thank you.
