When I composed this song in 2024, I was thinking something bright, fast and catchy for the younger audience. This was what came out. I hope I have achieved it, and I hope our younger people will like it.

In saying that however, I also put challenging words like tumultuous and apathy - to encourage a little bit of effort to sing with resilience just like the subject of the song - St Mary MacKillop herself.

When I composed this song last year, I was looking for a little change from the usual Haugen, Farrell or Schutte hymns we had had in our parish. So here it is. I hope you like it.
