I Can't Move Mountains

MP3 Music Playlist:
- Asking The Father to renew us each day through the Holy Spirit
I can’t move mountains or fly like the wind
can’t see tomorrow and tempted to sin
But by your grace can be and do
All that you will/ me to be and do
I can’t still storms or know this day’s outcome
can’t raise the dead or feed the throng with bread
But can be quiet/ empty and still
That you may - My heart fill
REFRAIN
Send your Spirit upon me - That I may know and see
What your will is for me today -
and the grace to follow your way
You chastise us and purify us
That we may be - Holy and free
That we become. All you will us to be
That at last in heaven we’ll see and be like You
I can’t go through.walls or count all the stars
I can’t stop wars or know what you’ve in store
But by your grace can be and do
All that you will / me to be and do
Send your Spirit upon us - That we we may know and see
What your will is for us today
And the grace to follow your way

Great lyrics! It is true
It is true that we have come up to the sad realities that we can't stop wars. It is like the second half of the Old Testement. The idea of the powerless being somehow God's chosen cam to the fore more and more. We matured and began to see that God isn't just a God who leads you to victory in war and makes you prosper. He does do this but not be getting us out of war or poverty but in Christ we come to find, preciencly through these things.
Death become the door to life.
The indurance of trials such as war, which by the way we are enduring from a distance, is hard enough and although we yearn for release it does not come.
The mountain that we can move if we have but a little faith is nothing compared to what we can do everytime we forgive others.
When we treat others as if they do not exist we are doing something more violent than war because it doesn't even seem like we are doing anythin wrong. Nothing worse than neglect. It is the root of all abuse.
What about the reality that there are many wars of the heart we are waging and winning? What about the fact that we can fight the good fight to make the darkness less dark?
I know a kid with a brain tumor that just came back. We are going to help him out this Sunday. He is Deaf so it makes it more complicated. Pray for him and be part of the light!
In Christ,
Jeremy
