Wondrous Clay
Lord of life, you love all souls.
By your touch we are made whole.
Sculptor of all time and space,
hold us in your warm embrace.
[refrain]
God, you watch creation toil.
God, you seed and water soil.
Guide us through another day.
Shape our lives in wondrous clay.
Often blind and so afraid.
Then your Word makes worries fade.
Healing Spirit, bring new light.
Illuminate our darkest night.
[refrain]
We journey with your risen Son
from mother's womb to valleys beyond.
Lead us to a vision so true,
through living waters that renew.
[refrain]

Richard Schletty (Minnesota, USA) wrote and sang lyrics for each soundtrack. The album was mastered by Richard Schletty using Apple Logic Pro.

May 10, 2016 - A FREE GIFT from St. James Music Press
Greetings! It's almost Pentecost! The church year is just flying by, and we're thinking that we might tempt you with something sweet. Hmmm, tempting, you say? For two-part mixed choir - men and women [trebles] with organ. An idyllic, sumptuous setting of a text by Christina Rossetti. The two parts start in unison, then enter in canon, then move into gentle harmony. Nothing difficult about this one - just exquisite writing. You will love it! The text is general enough to sing anytime, based on Matthew 6:26-28. A perfect summer anthem: flowers, birds, God's grace ... what more could you ask for? Of course, our cunning plan in offering you this free anthem is to get you to realize that a yearly subscription to SJMP (only $139) will allow you to download anything and everything on this site - well worth the price - just calculate the cost of three or four new anthems for your choir. We put 125 new works on the website last year - anthems, cantatas, organ pieces, hand bell music, hymn harmonizations ... these added to the already 1650 works already there - a HUGE catalog, and something for everyone. So, if you're not yet a member of SJMP, we're happy to... |

"Looking for words and name of a May Procession hymn used each year in my elementary school years during this Mother's Day Procession to Our Lady. Here are some of the words: Roses we bring to thee, Queen of the Rosary....Red blooms with pain untold, blend with royal robes of gold....
Found this site accidentally while looking for the above hymn. I did not know it existed."
Can you help Regina find the hymn?
I found it!
"Queen of the Rosary" is hymn number 82 in Mount Mary Hymnal (published 1937). Words by Sister Chrysostom, SSND, and music by M. Haller. The entire hymnal is available as a PDF file via download from Corpus Christi Watershed (courtesy of Jeff Ostrowski). See the TCS article link below. It will lead you to the PDF file which is quite large – 82 MB:

For your convenience, Regina, I have taken a screen shot of "Queen of the Rosary" for you to download. See link below.
I am curious if there is a typo in the last line of verse 1 in the hymnal. Regina's version sounds more correct: "Red blooms for pain untold blend with royal robes of gold."
Partial video demo of a song I am working on with Dan Vi Nguyen. Feel free to make suggestions for improvement.

Song Lyric: FATHER SON and HOLY SPIRIT

Sit at the right hand of the Father
Judging mankind with mercy
Upon the throne of heaven.

Hi all! I am a big fan of the music notation software Sibelius and created 4 tutorials that are available on Amazon. All these guides are downloadable, and are Print Replicas Kindle Editions, which sounds very impressive, but simply means that they are printable PDF files! The information is explained in easy to follow steps and I included lots of helpful screenshots.

Lift Me Up
7th Movement, Hungry for Heaven
Raise me skyward in a torrent
Energize me with your current
Rescue me from atrophy
Lift me up in harmony
Now I vow to reach up higher
Never mind the pain or fire
Break the shackles...
Joyous light of the holy glory
Of the Immortal Father
Heavenly and wholly blessed, Jesus Christ.
Having come to the setting of the sun
We see the evening light
We praise the Father and the Son
And the Holy Spirit of God.
And the Holy Spirit of God.
It is right that you be praised
At all times with holy sounds
Son of God, the giver of life
Therefore the world glorifies you.
Therefore the world glorifies you.
